Population Studies and Training Center

Elective Courses

Trainees must complete PSTC requirements as well as their department-specific courses offered through their home department and as outlined by the PSTC. Trainees must choose one course from outside their home department using the Approved Brown Courses list.

The one exception is Anthropology students who must already take a Sociology course as a requirement and can thus take their elective course from inside or outside the Anthropology Department. Students can petition the Associate Director to have appropriate courses added to the list.
