The PSTC is proud to house affiliated initiatives that provide rigorous research, training, and outreach opportunities for scholars across campus, as well as events that engage the public. These initiatives receive administrative, financial management, and IT support from the PSTC.
The Population Studies and Training Center (PSTC) at Brown University invites applications for its Global Fellows Program. The PSTC has a long-standing tradition of hosting scholars, researchers, and practitioners from diverse corners of the globe.
S4 is foundational to spatial research at Brown and provides essential support in the planning and execution of spatial research endeavors. S4 is administered by the PSTC and provides spatial training and research.
The Migration Studies Initiative (MSI) is based out of the Population Studies and Training Center and partnered with the U-FLi (Undocumented and First Generation Low-Income) Center and the Institute for Transformative Practice (ITP).
The PSTC and the Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women launched a new Reproductive Justice Research Collaborative in 2023. The group has opportunities for Brown-affiliated researchers at all levels, from undergraduate through senior faculty.
