Our interdisciplinary group of of dedicated scholars, faculty, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and trainees brings together diverse expertise and innovative perspectives to explore demographic complexities and address crucial challenges facing populations worldwide.

Faculty from across the University play a vital role in educating students, sharing knowledge, and advancing the research of the PSTC.
The PSTC fosters postdoctoral training in population studies with several postdoctoral research associate positions at the Center.
Our training program offers graduate students personalized attention. The PSTC does not grant degrees, but rather provides students with mentoring from faculty, outstanding facilities, and financial support for research, fieldwork, and developmental activities.
Staff play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the PSTC.
Visiting scholars contribute their expertise and collaborate with faculty and students, fostering an exchange of ideas, knowledge, and research methodologies.
Summer fellowship that aims to prepare current Brown undergraduates to engage in rigorous empirical research in population studies, public policy, and related fields, in support of the center’s mission to produce evidence in support of efforts to improve public health and inform public policy.
