Yifei Huang is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at Brown University and a trainee at PSTC. His research focuses on social mobility, stratification, gender, and family demography. He is currently studying multidimensional and multigenerational patterns of social mobility and examining how college major choices—particularly in STEM fields—shape the gender earnings gap in the United States.
