Selen is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the City University of New York. Her research spans health economics, demography, immigration, and policy evaluation. Previously, she worked at the NBER and The Brookings Institution and holds a master's degree from Yale University and a bachelor's degree from Boğaziçi University. Her primary research interests are health economics, demography, immigration, and education.
