Population Studies and Training Center

Jonathon's research interests are in social inequality and how that relates to education. More specifically, he is interested in understanding math education in secondary school and the transition to college as well as understanding ways to promote equitable course placement and academic tracking. Before coming to Brown, he did research exploring the differences in high school calculus enrollment for Black and Latinx students compared to their White peers. In his free time, he enjoys doing crafty projects and cooking.
