Biography
Isabella is interested in understanding how medical professionals balance both ethical dilemmas and providing the best care in the maternal health sector in Tanzania during times of supply shortages. Scarcity of medical supplies and medications is somewhat common which can create complications for both medical providers, patients and their families. Her current work is focused on how medical providers rationalize medical decisions in allocating scarce resources in maternity and gynecology wards in a district hospital.
