As a predoctoral RA at Princeton, Camilla ran an RCT evaluating the effects of felony reductions to misdemeanors. She is also interested in the economic and labor market effects of education particularly as it pertains to economic and social mobility. Her goal in the economics PhD program is to study how policy affects human behavior and economic outcomes. In particular, she plans to apply causal inference, policy evaluation methods, and economic modeling. She believes that economic research can inform policy decisions, allowing more efficient allocation of resources and providing solutions to significant social problems.
