PSTC trainees graduating

Five PSTC trainees will receive their PhDs from Brown this weekend.

The PSTC is proud to announce that five of its trainees are graduating from Brown this weekend. They are:

Benjamin Bellman (Ph.D. in Sociology) uses spatial methods to study segregation in American cities. He is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at PSTC and Brown’s Spatial Structures in the Social Sciences (S4) program.

Stefan Hut (Ph.D. in Economics), who studies labor markets and retirement, will be joining Amazon as an economist.

Ken Miura (Ph.D. in Economics), who studies development microeconomics in Zambia, is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Division of Natural Resource Economics, Graduate School of Agriculture at Kyoto University in Japan. 

Nicholas Reynolds (Ph.D. in Economics), whose research examines the decline in health and human capital for Americans born over the past 7 decades, will be joining the University of Essex (UK) in July as a Lecturer in the Department of Economics.

Sagar Wadhwa (Ph.D. in Economics) studies the consequences of demonetization in India for household consumption of both durable and non-durable goods, and will begin a position at Amazon as an economist in August.
