Benjamin P. Brown
Biography
Dr. Ben Brown is the Mimi Pichey Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He is Chief of the Section of Complex Family Planning, and an attending physician in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. Dr. Brown is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in complex family planning.
Dr. Brown’s clinical interests include high-acuity obstetrics, complex abortion and contraception care, and management of early pregnancy complications and ectopic gestation. He enjoys mentoring medical students and residents, and has expertise in statistics and clinical medical ethics. His research focuses on understanding the human impact of reproductive and sexual health policy, using health services research methods and an ethics lens. Dr. Brown speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
