Biography
Adi is a PhD student studying Economics at Brown University. His research interests are at the intersection of Behavioral and Development Economics, with a focus on understanding the role of social networks. His goal for his PhD is to improve policy by improving our understanding of how social interaction and networks impacts economic outcomes in developing countries, where people tend to rely heavily on their friends and neighbors. Previously, Adi was a pre-doctoral fellow for Shing-Yi Wang and Susanna Berkouwer at Wharton's Business Economics and Public Policy Department where he studied the impacts of migration and technology (non)adoption in developing countries.
Adi is also an award-winning independent filmmaker, having made feature-length films that have played in theaters and festivals in the U.S. and abroad.
