PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] – PSTC Faculty Associates Omar Galárraga and Eric Loucks have both been promoted by the Corporation of Brown University, effective July 1. Galárraga is now Associate Professor of Health Services, Policy and Practice. Loucks is Associate Professor of Epidemiology. 

Faculty Associate Joseph Hogan has been appointed the Carole and Lawrence Sirovich Professor of Public Health. On July 1, he also took over as the chair of the Department of Biostatistics. Read more about his appointment here.

Former PSTC-affiliated Postdoc Bryce Millett Steinberg is now the Stephen Robert Assistant Professor of Economics and International and Public Affairs at Brown.

Former PSTC Faculty Associate Nathaniel Hilger (Economics) has joined Stripe, a payments technology firm, in San Francisco. And Former PSTC Faculty Associate Anja Sautmann (Economics) is now the Director of Research at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), where the mission is to "reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence."
