PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] – With a standing-room-only crowd in attendance, Professor of Economics Emily Oster and Assistant Professor of Sociology Jayanti Owens participated in an informal conversation at the Watston Institute last week about "'Women's Issues' in Practice and Perspective." The moderated discussion focused on the experience and practice of being a woman in academia and what taking up a "women's issue" entails within the academy.
