PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] – Applications are now being accepted for the Summer 2016 GIS Institute offered by Spatial Structures in the Social Sciences (S4). The Institute, co-sponsored by the PSTC, Brown University Libraries, and EarthLab, will run May 23 to June 3 and is open to all Brown faculty, graduate students, and staff. It provides participants the opportunity to build and apply Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis skills. The application deadline is May 3 with rolling selection beginning April 22.
